Co-workers

Today I really wonder why others get to keep their jobs and I don't. I had a secretary call me this morning and ask where to get caps and gowns for graduation because the bookstore was closed.

Um - the bookstore isn't closed. It's minimal but it still has books for sale and probably is handling the caps/gowns for graduation. She didn't even bother to look the bookstore up online! Because as soon as *I* did it had a big spread about caps/gowns for graduation!

Geeze. It's just not fair. But then life hasn't really been fair lately has it?

Even Kit Kitridge who saved her house from foreclosure by solving the mystery didn't have it easy. She sucked it up and sold eggs. But then that was 1934 and the depression and a freaking book.
