Handy-men

So I had a handy man in last weekend to paint and patch and hang new doors. Well everything looks ok. This weekend I found that if I flipped the handle on the black metal screen doors with the deadbolt I could use the prettier, fancier, bigger handle on the front door. But Lo -- the handyman absconded with my handle! Today I e-mailed and asked that they return the handle to me as I figured out a way to use it. Well the response I got "he'll look for it and IF we have it will coordinate with you to get it to you."

IF ?

!#$)(*&#$)(*@&#$)

The is no "IF" to me. He put on the new door. Put on the old handle and now I can't find the new handle. What "if" is there?? Someone came in the middle of the night and took the old door handle because they knew there was one in the back of the house that wasn't in use?

MissE is defending him. I can't stand it.

Additionally, it feels like every time I fix something some other problem is created. Really makes me want to not ever fix anything!
